Jaymie helped me to refocus, gain confidence and most importantly slowly and carefully rebuild my muscles. I was a very unusual case for Jaymie as I was not lucky enough to have had a baby. I had an operation removing 9 fibroids in my womb. The largest of which was the size of a 6 month foetus. So it was open surgery, very similar to a C-section. I had tried to book into a local class for postnatal mums. But the instructor would not allow me to be part of the group because I had not had a baby. I was terrified, felt very alone, did not know anyone else who had been through this and just didn’t know where to turn.

Jaymie stepped in and with her kindness and patience helped to rebuild my muscles, helped me gain confidence in my movement and of course helped me to recognise that the body is a wonderful thing to be treasured, at any size and even with scars. She is just the most supportive and inspirational person. Always there with a smile and a cuddle.

When I returned to see my doctor he couldn’t believe how much I had improved and the strength we had rebuilt. I will forever be grateful to her for everything she has done and given me.

Sarah Anne Care update:

Jaymie had helped me through 2 previous fibroid operations and helping me get wedding ready.

Fibroids popped up again this year but with an added complication. This time I was pregnant with large fibroids. This was a massive shock as I had been struggling to fall pregnant. I felt lost, helpless and was suffering with massive hip, bum and shooting pain down my legs.

Who you gonna call?!?…. Jaymie.

She jumped to the challenge. We have been working together weekly and she is slowly developing a programme for me to work on in my own time.

She is so caring and goes above and beyond. Always making sure I feel safe and comfortable but always making sure she pushes me. And miraculously all my pain had disappeared. She is helping me feel stronger, feel more positive about my changing body and making sure I build the strength to welcome the little munchkin next year.

She is my guardian Angel, friend and coach. I am so grateful to her for everything she does for me.

Thank goodness I found Jaymie just at the right time!

I was born with scoliosis and suffered with back pain all my life. I eventually had surgery when I was 19 but I still suffer from occasional severe pain now, so I decided to try pilates to strengthen my core to minimise the pain with my back. thank goodness I found Jaymie just at the right time! We've been training together for several weeks now and I definitely don't regret choosing to work with her!

Jaymie is caring, enthusiastic, extremely positive, always punctual and a great perfectionist. She tailors the routines just for me each session and always ensures that I'm doing the exercises exactly as they should be done to prevent any injury and she definitely makes our time together fun!
