golden overnight oats
ingredients
- 1 1/3 cup coconut milk
- 1/2tsp turmeric
- 1/4tsp cardamom
- 1/4tsp nutmeg
- 1/4tsp ginger
- a pinch black pepper
- 1/4tsp honey
- 1/4 vanilla bean paste
- 2tbsp boiling water
- 100g rolled oats
- 2tbsp chia seed
- 2tbsp hemp seed
- handful of fresh blueberries & raspberries,
- a sprinkle of mixed seeds,
- the leaves from 1 fresh sprig of mint
- a sprinkle of chopped brazil nuts
directions:
- in a medium bowl place the turmeric, cardamom, nutmeg, ginger, black pepper, honey and vanilla bean paste. stir to combine.
- stir in the boiling water to dissolve the honey.
- stir in the coconut milk.
- combine oats, chia, and hemp seeds in a lidded jar, stirring to combine.
- pour the golden milk into the jar and stir to combine.
- place the fridge overnight
- serve with topping of fresh berries, mixed seeds, fresh mint leaves and chopped Brazil nuts.
